Beautifully ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows dark cherry, floral, game and floral notes, leading to a juicy palate that is rounded and silky. The wine offers excellent mid palate weight and fine texture, together with elegant savoury complexity, finishing long, smooth and delicately dry. Elegant yet flavoursome. At its best: now to 2020.

Youthful and fragrant, this charming rose shows rockmelon, lemon peel, watermelon and red cherry aromas on the nose, followed by a vibrant palate that is juicy and lively. The wine is delightfully attractive and immediate, and offers zesty flavours and a lingering silky finish. A lovely dry style. At its best: now to 2018.

This is instantly appealing on the nose showing poached pear, green rockmelon, floral and fig characters. The palate delivers excellent fruit weight and intensity, while remaining elegant and pristine, wonderfully supported by silky texture and refreshing acidity. At its best: now to 2019.

Revelers will be able to try a taste or a glass of special, rare and aged wines selected by winemakers Paul and John, from the Martinborough Vineyard and Te Kairanga winery cellars as an ongoing celebration of the pioneering history of these two iconic wineries.
On offer all day will be the TK Larder – a selection of local artisan goods, to enjoy with your glass of wine.
So come and settle in for an afternoon of unique wines in our cottage gardens! We're open from 11am-4pm.

Wharekauhau Food and Wine Society Farmers Market
Starting Sunday November 6
Since 2012 the Farmers Market at Te Kairanga have been an important social event for the Wairarapa community. Starting November 6, the Farmers Market will commence on the first Sunday of every month (excluding January 2nd). This year proceeds generated by hosting the event will be donoated to the Life Flight Trust.
Come down to enjoy live music, local produce and delicious food.
